- 500 grams strawberries
- 2 teaspoons caster sugar (or honey)
- 500 ml whipping cream
- 6-8 small meringue nests
Hull and chop the strawberries .Place strawberries and sugar in a large bowl; mash 1/4 of strawberries using a potato masher or fork. Whip the cream in a large bowl until thick but still soft. Then fold in the strawberries and crushed meringue. Place in pretty dessert bowls or long stemmed glasses. Serve immediately.
